TETHER is a movement, sound, and video work created by Joanna Mattrey, Laurel Snyder, and Chris Ryan Williams in collaboration with Laura Sofía Pérez. In this collaborative work, we seek to foster empathy, explore the bonds between people, and tap into the minds, bodies, and inner essences of each other to open portals into the surreal. Our collective practice searches for the translations between sounds and gestures and fuses these mediums to create compositions based on these impulses.
